Removable Crumb Tray: After a few months of use the toaster’s mechanism can fill up with crumbs that have dropped off your toast. This can become messy and even be a health hazard. The inclusion of a removable crumb tray allows you the effortlessly dispose of the crumb build up, by removing and cleaning the crumb tray.

These basic features are important to take into account when making your purchasing decision, and will be the basis for any fully featured toaster.

We all have known that toasters are a staple to any bachelor pad, but in a resent survey of 1,000 women, 73% of women stated that the color of guy’s toaster enhanced their level of attraction. The black toaster turned girls on to guys the most, followed by red and then white. According to the survey, the size of the toaster had little effect on women. Dr. Dario from the College of Scientific Attraction recently dug into this survey a bit more to try to see how a toaster could enhance the level of attraction a female had for a male. He concluded in his published work on the matter (The Attraction of The Toaster Vol 1) that it wasn’t just one element of the toaster that produced this attraction but several components together. He concluded this by placing a woman in a room with 2 toasters of the exact same color and shape. The woman was asked a series of questions by a male who was hidden behind a curtain.

The woman’s heart rate, breathing patterns, and condensation levels were measured. She was first asked to lightly place her hand over a warm toaster as opposed to a cold one. The warmth of the black toaster increased the woman’s heart rate by 30% in response to the man’s request. The second command was for the woman to gently sniff the toaster 6 min after both toasters had toasted bread at different heat levels. The toaster that toasted the bread almost to the point of the bread burning decreased the woman’s breathing by 20% compared to the one that toasted the bread to perfection. Because of these two outcomes, Dr Dario proved that it wasn’t just the color that increased the woman’s drive, but also a combination of factors that positively or negatively affected the senses.
